About the septum piercing
A good septum piercing goes through the thin "sweet spot" of tissue just in front of the cartilage, not through the cartilage itself. Done there, it heals quicker, hurts less and hangs straight.
Most noses aren't perfectly symmetrical, so we center the piercing to how your nose looks from the front, not to a ruler. That's why one septum ring hangs straight and another sits crooked.

What to expect at your appointment
We find your sweet spot, mark and check centering with you, then pierce with a single-use needle. Your eyes will probably water and you may sneeze, which is normal.
Every appointment includes a free consultation, and every piercing is done with a sterile, single-use needle. We never use piercing guns, and every tool is autoclave-sterilized and individually pouched.
Healing & aftercare
Rinse with sterile saline and leave the ring alone. Don't flip it up and down while it's fresh. Expect some crust for the first few weeks, and soften it with saline rather than picking.
Full step-by-step instructions are in our piercing aftercare guide. If anything looks off while it's healing, call or text us. Checkups are free.
